In today’s Chef’s Quick Tip, explore the flavors of Mexico with a fresh salsa that can be used as a dip for chips – and it’s also delicious over chicken or fish.
  1. 10 Small Tomatillos
  1. 4 Garlic Cloves
  1. 1 Jalapeno
  1. 1 Small Onion
  1. 1 Ripe Avocado
  1. Salt
  1. 1 bunch of cilantro
Remove papery husks from tomatillos and rinse well
Place the tomatillos, jalapeno, chopped-up onion, garlic, cilantro, avocado and salt in a blender or food processor and pulse until all ingredients are finely chopped and mixed
Cool in refrigerator
Serve with chips or use as a marinade for chicken or fish
